Industrial and Manufacturing - Milton, FL - Full Time

Now hiring Machine Operators with previous machine operating experience to operate our Screening/Stranding Machines in Milton, FL. Previous machine experience is required, but it does not have to be on this specific machinery.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Safely operate Screening and/or Stranding machines that are used in our cable manufacturing facility.
  • Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols, material type, and material shape).
  • Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options: set-up, pay-off, take-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.
  • Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface). 
  • Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.


EXPERIENCE: 

  • At least 1 year as a CNC (or other manufacturing machine) Operator is preferred but NOT required.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/machining environment is preferred but NOT required.


EDUCATION: 
High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but NOT required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must complete a pre-employment background check (having something on your record does NOT eliminate you from this position, we take everything on an individual "case-by-case" basis)
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.  
  • Must have Steel-toed boots.
  • Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.


PAY: 
Position starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. ---Depending on level of Experience
(with the opportunity to increase over-time)

SCHEDULE:  
Full-Time --- All shifts are 12-hr's --- Day shift & Night shift are BOTH available
Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm
Night Shift = 7:30pm - 7:30am
***Expect to work 40-60 hours per week***
