Litigation Legal Assistant - Pensacola, FL
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Litigation Legal Assistant with a minimum of two (2) years of litigation experience in a law firm setting. The ideal candidate will support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence
E-file documents in state and federal courts
Manage attorney calendars, court deadlines, and scheduling
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
Prepare and organize exhibits, trial binders, and case files
Maintain case management systems and document databases
Communicate professionally with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Assist with discovery, including document production and review
Track billable time and assist with billing as needed
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience in a law firm
Strong knowledge of court rules and filing procedures
Experience with e-filing in state and federal courts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Experience with legal case management software preferred
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
Trial preparation experience
Familiarity with discovery procedures
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys
Compensation & Benefits
Hourly pay ranging from $17.50 to $20.00, depending on experience

Position starts at: $17.50/hr. - $20/hr. (Depending on the level of experience)
