TEL Staffing is seeking a CAD Drafter to work for a manufacturing facility in Cantonment FL.
Position Overview:
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations that support manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate has experience in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks and a solid foundation in design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.

Position Overview:
The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating accurate technical drawings, 3D models, and visualizations that support manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate has experience in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks and a solid foundation in design principles, materials, and fabrication processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using Autodesk and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
- Create renderings, exploded views, and animations for client presentations and approvals.
- Ensure designs meet industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. Revise and update drawings based on feedback and design changes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control of design files.
- Participate in design reviews and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD) and/or SolidWorks.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or product development environments—or completed coursework from an accredited college.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical design, fabrication, and construction principles.
- Preferred experience with steel structures, electrical circuits/wiring, or construction detailing.
- Familiarity with design workflows and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications, blueprints, and schematics.
- Knowledge of dimensioning, tolerancing, and material selection.
- Excellent spatial awareness and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- MUST be able to pass a preemployment drug screening AND background check.
