Job Summary:
We’re looking for a dependable and energetic Fry & Grill Cook to join our fast-paced beachside kitchen in Perdido Key, FL. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality fried and grilled menu items while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient workstation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook menu items using fryers and grills according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure food is cooked to proper temperatures and presented consistently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of fry and grill stations at all times
  • Monitor food stock levels and communicate shortages to kitchen leadership
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health guidelines
  • Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure timely ticket completion
  • Assist with prep work, including cutting, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Properly store food items and rotate stock to minimize waste
  • Handle high-volume service periods efficiently and calmly

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a line cook, fry cook, or grill cook preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-temperature environment
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a high-volume restaurant or beachside/bar setting
  • Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
