Now Hiring a Metal Fabricator for a Manufacturing & Fabrication company in Cantonment, FL.

OVERVIEW:
This role involves fabricating, assembling, and repairing sheet metal products and operating machinery to create precision components to manufacture industrial control equipment buildings. It requires proficiency in reading technical drawings, using fabrication tools, and ensuring product quality.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
  • Operate sheet metal machinery such as metal brakes, shears, rollers, and CNC machines.
  • Measure, cut, bend, and shape metal materials according to specifications.
  • Use hand tools and power tools to trim, file, grind, deburr, buff and smooth surfaces  Use hand tools and power tools to bolt, rivet, screw, clip, caulk or bond parts  Assemble and weld components using TIG, MIG, or spot-welding techniques.
  • Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain equipment, perform routine maintenance, and ensure a clean work environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2 years related experience a must, 5 years preferred.
  • Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator and/or machinist.
  • Working knowledge of welding procedures. Welding experience preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of working characteristics of metallic and non-metallic materials, machining and layout techniques, as well as using hand tools, power tools, machines and equipment  Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Must be able to pass background check and drug screen

PAY RATE:
Starts at $25+/hr. (Depending on your level of Experience)


SCHEDULE:
Monday – Thursday ----- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Occasional overtime as needed)
