Shift and schedule - 12 hour shift, Night shift, Day shift

Description: 
TEL Staffing is looking to hire knowledgeable operators to operate a Copper Wire Screening Machine and/or Aluminum/Copper Wire Stranding Machine. These machines process several copper or aluminum wires; they apply around center core or bunch them to make conductor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Has run screening or stranding machine in a Cable Manufacturing facility.
  • Can set-up the screening or stranding machine independently from selection of tooling, set-up of pay-off and take-up, setting running parameters and monitoring the Quality of Product consistently.
  • Familiar with electronic screens (Human Machine Interface) for controlling the screening or stranding process.
  • Good Mechanical skills with ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.
  • Must maintain consistent log of production and Quality per Gulf Cable systems.
Shifts: 12hrs (7:30am to 7:30pm or 7:30pm to 7:30am)
Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred)
Experience:
  • CNC Operator: 1 year (Preferred)
  • machine operator: 1 year (Preferred)
Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen. Reliable transportation to and from Santa Rosa County Industrial park is required.
