Quality Control Inspector
Now hiring an experienced Quality Control Inspector for a Cable manufacturing company in Milton, FL.
The Quality Control Inspector will perform daily inspections of ALL incoming materials, in-process materials, final assembly materials, and will also be responsible for completing all necessary reports. The selected individual will be part of a growing, fast paced global manufacturer and will report to the Quality Assurance Manager. We are an ISO-9001 Certified OEM manufacturer.

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS:
- Must be able to read basic electrical and/or assembly drawings.
- Must be able to use a variety of measurement tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and micrometers (in both Metric and Standard units of measure).
- Must have previous ISO-9001 or comparable QMS experience.
- Must have better than average computer skills.
- Previous experience working with wire, cable, wire harnesses, and/or electrical assembly& testing is preferred but NOT required.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform incoming inspection on specific products that are identified by management as critical.
- Perform daily "in-process" inspections.
- Perform basic lab tests on random samples of incoming materials as required by management.
- Perform daily "finished goods" inspections.
- Perform equipment calibrations as required.
- Complete all documentation as it relates to the daily inspection process and/or lab test.
- Assist in the processing of "Returned Goods" for the field, and then issue the appropriate reports.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
EXPERIENCE:
- MINIMUM of 1-year experience with reading/interpreting basic electrical assembly drawings.
- MINIMUM of 1-year experience working with computers AND is proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
- At least 1-Year of Quality Control experience is preferred but NOT required.
EDUCATION:
High school Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
PAY:
Starts at: $15/hr. --- $18/hr. (Depending On Experience)
SCHEDULE:
Full-Time --- All shifts are 12-hr's
Day Shift = 7:30am - 7:30pm
ALL hours over 40-hrs will be paid at "Time-and-a-half"
You are open to work more hours if they are available

- Must be able to pass a drug test.
- Must have Steel-toed boots.
- Must have RELIABLE transportation to Milton FL.
