NOW HIRING Radio and Instrument Bench Technicians for an approved FAA/EASA part 145 repair station in Fort Worth, TX. This facility specializes in bench level repair services for aircraft Radios, Instruments, Radar and Accessories.

Job Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Hours will be Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm with some weekend and overtime opportunities.
- Individuals will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics equipment and certifying that the equipment is returned to service in accordance with manufacturer’s maintenance manuals and FAA regulations.
- Daily use of industry standard and specialized test equipment for the purpose of aiding in the testing, troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft radio, instruments, and accessories to the component level.
- Soldering associated with repairs of electrical wiring, circuit boards, and electronic devices.
- Maintain a safe work environment by following policies and procedures.
- Advancement of job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities to include but not limited to the study of technical publications and aircraft systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail.
- Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
- Electronic component level theory.
- Read and comprehend schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Soldering
- Follow flow charts
- Use of advanced test equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Perform tests in accordance with component maintenance manuals
Minimum Qualifications to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or Military background.
- Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
- Strong communication skills in a diverse group.
- Must have knowledge in the proper operation of a Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Signal generators, and soldering equipment.
- Must be able to identify symbols on schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Ability to perform electronic troubleshooting down to component level.
Must have a strong work ethic.
